I leave for Ottawa in 17 hours. Of course I’ve left everything to the last second.
Last night I made a giant to-do list and set my alarm for six. I rolled out of bed at eight and went into the washroom to discover the toilet was badly clogged. I spent an hour finding and buying a plunger, and three hours unclogging the toilet. I’m now burning candles to make my apartment smell less like an outhouse.
The electronics are all charging and the laundry is going. I need library books, a gift for Matt, a new pair of black heels to wear to a wedding, and to find my backpack and passport. I need to take out the garbage, pack my bags, and call my family to wish them a merry christmas. I need more coffee.
